Souls of the Sound

My current portfolio represents the early stages of a broader artistic vision. Limited equipment, restricted access and my developing perspective have shaped what I’ve been able to capture so far, but they’ve also clarified the direction I’m committed to pursuing. My work centers the moments that define electronic music culture from within: the unplanned exchanges, small acts of kindness, shared joy and quiet connection that often go unnoticed in the rush of a festival. These interactions are the foundation of the community I love and they are essential to preserving an honest record of rave culture as it evolves. Simultaneously, I want to intentionally photograph Black, Brown and queer DJs, the pioneers and innovators whose contributions shaped house, techno and dance music as we know it today. Their stories and presence are inseparable from the community experiences I want to document, including them is critical to presenting a complete and truthful picture of this scene.
